While many of the old internet giants are crumbling, the internet itself is here to stay. Creatives of all kinds are starting and running their own websites again. As professor for Digital Experience Design I hope to support this fundamental shift with my research.

I am doing professional web design since 1998 and I am teaching Digital Experience Design since 2006. A lot of what I write here is opinionated, but I stay as neutral as possible. I am not affiliated with any software or company and will not try to sell you anything.

I dropped the »social«, because »blog« fits better. Is @tilman now my main Fediverse address? Does that mean I should drop my old @tilmn? Is this WordPress now…
